Photo Project Day 21
I was lucky enough to spend a little time out in nature today. The shining sun was gracing us with a mild 70 degrees and there were plenty of birds, squirrels and other critters that I came across on my little hike. Hauling around my “beast” of a lens (70-200mm/2.8) was a little cumbersome, but there were definitely a few moments that made it all worth it. And, if I had selected a different one, I would not have been able to get my chosen “shot of the day.” At 2.8, it does a nice job separating out the softness of the water and the majestic egret while the background colors add a hint of the beautiful sunset at dusk.
