Photo Project Day 23

I have really wanted to photograph these cute yellow flowers for some time now and today was just the day. The sun was out, so I used my gold and silver reflector to bounce some light on the flowers since the sun was behind them. I did a few captures trying out different angles and positions of the reflector and am definitely more drawn to the images with stronger shadows. I started at f10 and did a few tests at f14, f18, and f36 to compare the results. With such a close distance between my lens and the flowers (about 4 inches), f36 was essential in getting all of the petals and spines in focus.
