Photo Project Day 26
This little one has stolen my heart. I love visiting her and her brother and wish they lived closer. But, I come down when I can and was able to have a little fun with them this weekend. These kiddos are used to seeing me with my camera and always allow me to have a bit of practice time behind my lens. I explore different settings and work on my quick focusing, as kiddos under 5 are a bit challenging to have every shot come out tack sharp. About mid-shoot, my flash batteries were drained and I still wanted to practice a bit so I grabbed my video light. This chosen shot is taken with the video light illuminating the right side of her face. I love how it highlights her features at this angle. It would have been great if I had an additional light source to add a kiss of light to the other side of her face. But, as is, I’ll take it.
