Photo Project Day 17

carFor my photo challenge today, I wanted to practice my panning skills for an upcoming project. I love this effect and given the right setting, you can get some pretty cool images. I used my 24-70mm lens with a slow shutter speed and a very small aperture, stood out on a busy street and took frame after frame of the cars going by. I wasn’t worried too much on creating the perfect composition, wanting to focus my efforts on dialing in the process. I felt like a cop with a radar gun and definitely got some strange looks from the drivers. Many of the shots turned out a bit too blurry, but I was happy to see a few of them turn out sharp.
