Photo Project Day 12

I’ve been feeling a little under the weather the past few days and haven’t wanted to spend much time searching for a unique subject for my photo project. Today, I was supposed to go hiking up a mountain with my hubby, which would have provided oodles of interesting subjects, but I wasn’t feeling too well still. So, I spent the day hanging out, cleaning and just being mellow.

When it came time to work on my photo challenge, my little friend, D wanted to help. So…grabbed my prime 60mm lens and pointed it at a blooming flower for a few shots. Then, I couldn’t help myself and turned the lens onto my “assistant.” Working with a 3 year old and trying to encourage a REAL expression, and one Mom would be happy with too, is a bit challenging since they are mostly running around a mile a minute bouncing from one place to another and never holding still. But, I keep practicing and once in a while get lucky with an image of a contagious smile that warms my heart.
