I grabbed a few shots this morning of one of our little baby turtles. Because he is just so darn cute, I wanted to really show his size and thought a blueberry from my own breakfast would make the perfect prop. The red in the background is from the little tub he and his brother temporarily live in, which added a nice splash of color and kinda made it a bit artsy. I have to just smile when I look at this image and think I should capture all of our turtle children someday–what a task that would be! This little guy also has the cutest long tail which I also wanted capture, but he kept whipping it around to the other side when I’d place it in view. Sometimes you just have to work with what you got. 😉
